Bad Girls Club: Season 9 Premieres Monday on Oxygen

The moment you have all been waiting for….drumroll please….yes, the Bad Girls Club season 9 in Mexico, premieres on July 9th! This season we are introduced to seven self-proclaimed bad girls picked up from Chicago to Texas. These ladies move into one mansion where they attempt to party while learning and living through eachother’s differences.

While I have no problems seeing the fights along the way (which often amuse me), I only hope the cast does not feel like it is cool to “jump” one another, destroy eachothers property or pack up one anothers clothes! That has become a new tradition that I hope this season breaks as it shows their lack of maturity and most importantly, it is not the meaning of a “bad girl”. While I may be giving too much hope for ladies who sign up on a show called “Bad Girls Club”, still you can be a bad girl and keep life real.

These women have been fiery on every season but somehow this one looks like it might take the cake. From the looks of the trailer, the utimate non-stop fight house is promised to be more explosive this season. What, you do not believe me? Love and Hip Hop Atlanta: Baby Mama Drama!

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta is a HOT MESS, child! Just when I thought it could get no worse…ooops, they did it again! Where oh where should I start? Episode 3 begins right where it left off. Stevie J continues to insult his alledged “baby mama”, Joseline. He demeans her character again as if she is not the same slut puppy he has been screwing [having sexual intercourse with] for the last 4-6 months [at that time]. Joseline becomes annoyed by his antics and tells him that she will make up a contract for 50% of everything he has! Stevie J in turn asks her if she wants 50% of [grabs crotch] “deez nuts”, I guess? I assume she already had that since she is there with her positive pregnancy test in tow. The episode also ends on a “Stevie J” note, but I will get back to that.

K Michelle was trying to get her voice and music back out into the music industry world so she decided to throw a listening party for executives and fans to judge her on the music and not on the rumors of her being crazy. The evening was a success for K Michelle, but I cannot say the same about the rest of the cast. First, out of left field, Karlie Redd throws a jab, so to speak, at Mimi by pointing out another woman that Stevie J supposedly slept with. This in front of all the ladies. Come on Karlie! I liked you up until this point. The episode highlighted all of Karlie’s negatives. Once she embarrassed Mimi, she even went to K Michelle’s new producer [Brian Michael Cox] (at her event) and told him he was dealing with the wrong artist! Oh no she didn’t! I guess she is really trying to get to the top by any means necessary! K Michelle followed up that drama by stating that Karlie Redd should focus more on her “deflated” butt cheek and stop worrying about what K Michelle is doing. She also called Karlie a 50 year old artist who should consider retirement! Yikes! She is funny!

Back to the story at hand, Stevie J noticed the “stink eye” that he was getting from his baby mama, Mimi. He walked up to her and asked her for a kiss, in his “gangster voice”. Mimi blew him off and said she will call him later. He was annoyed and continued to harrass her for a kiss. When he finally walked away, Erica Dixon laughed and mocked him in his approach. All the ladies laughed and he apparently heard her speaking because he went back to confront her. Yes, confront a girl for laughing at him!  How old are we again? He called himself checking Erica by acting as if she was beneath him and he was “the man”! Mimi sat quietly, not even defending Erica. Later, Erica went to tell her baby daddy, Lil’ Scrappy about the incident. Their communication is so adorable for an Atlanta couple. They seemed very natural and on the same page which leads me to the question, why is Scrappy not keeping it real with Erica? He told his mother, “Momma Dee” that he wants attention from all girls, but he keeps telling Erica they are working on their relationship with no outsiders. That is the problem with men. They never know how to keep it real! Anyway, Scrappy ended the conversation by stating he wanted to put those “paws” on Stevie J. If you ask me, someone needs to!

Mimi confronted Stevie J about the girl he supposedly slept with from the party. His answer to the question was not that he could remember! Really!!!??? I bet that was all  Mimi wished she was dealing with. By the end of the episode, Mimi met up with Joseline at a restaurant. Joseline wanted to come clean about the pregnancy. The conversation began with Mimi doubting Joseline and pointing out that she was a stripper. Joseline proved her point by reminding Mimi of the 3 months Stevie J was not sleeping at home. Say what say huh? Mimi took a gulp and it looked as if the conversation was turning!  As they talked, Stevie J texted Joseline who in turn told him to meet up at the same restaurant they were at.

Stevie seemed surprised by their meeting and tried to play the “It wasn’t me” role as Mimi badgered him about it being true. Meanwhile, he pulls the pregnancy test out of his pocket! STOP THE PRESS! Yes, people, I can’t make this stuff up! Mimi seemed to have confirmed that question telling herself that “no man, in his right mind, would carry the pregnancy test of some womens” [ if he was not the father]. Stevie J questioned whether Joseline was even pregnant. Huh? Both women pointed out to him that he was holding the answer in his hand…they followed that with a lot of “stupid” comments! I mean this was the funniest episode ever! Mimi had enough and walked out and Joseline and Stevie had their usual beefs and disses going back and forth. All I know is the pimp word came out. He went to strike her but threw a drink instead. And ended the conversation telling her she is beautiful! Wow! This is the worst case of pimpin I have ever seen! Stevie has NO game, whatsoever! Though I specualted it before, I feel they confirmed it last night. Mimi does not want to get in the way of his “money” and Joseline should not tell the world she is pregnant by her “daddy”!  Come on son…it does not take a rocket scientist! I think Stevie J should be a little more selective about how he enters self proclaimed “hoes”. You see where it will get you!

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta: Joseline Brawls in Atlanta Club

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta: Joseline Brawls in Atlanta Club

Joseline Hernandez of VH1’s reality show, Love and Hip Hop Atlanta was in a club brawl last night. Apparently some unidentified woman asked Joseline if she aborted the baby of fellow cast member and manager, Stevie J. Aggitated by the question, Hernandez hit the woman and a fight broke out between the two leaving Hernandez badly injured with a bloody face.

Hernandez has been annoyed by the comments she gets daily from viewers of the show who see her as a “hoe” and have questioned her gender. Joseline has come out stating that she is a woman and even followed up the questioning with a nude photo to prove viewers wrong. “I was stressed out. I was wrong for doing that. I shouldn’t have never did that, that was my past but that was the first thing that i thought about. I just wanted people to leave me alone,” Hernandez said.

“They were just basically bullying me…people just really, they just don’t care… that’s how people end up killing themselves, because of people. I didn’t have to take it to that level,” she added. She also said that she is “confused” by such rumors and went on to say that, “I’m beautiful and a lot of women would pay thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars to look like me. You know, I work out a lot.. take care of my body and I love how I look and hey, whoever don’t like it, they can stop looking! But I know they not, cause they love it too.”

I cannot confirm Joseline Hernandez to be a man or a woman, but if I were in her shoes, I would ignore the comments. Who really goes that far to prove their gender? If someone was to call me a man I would laugh…I’m confused by her need to make people believe her. What do you think?

Real Housewives of New York: New Cast Members

The season began introducing us to three new cast members, Aviva, Carole and Heather. They are all pictured below…

Aviva Drescher is a NYC socialite. Though she has a law degree, she decided her best time spent was with her children so she has become a full-time mother of two. Aviva seems to be the sweetest cookie of the bunch and a great asset to the show. I admire her honesty and heart of gold that you will not find amongst most women. Her statuesque beauty leads you to believe she is perfect in many ways. She surprises the ladies and tells of her accident at six years old that left her without a leg. Her amputee leg you would never notice as she struts her stuff down the NYC streets. The girls have a curious time learning about her experience, but she handles the questions like a natural born leader. She has done a great job of playing the middle as both Ramona and Heather threw her under the bus on last nights episode. FUN FACT: Aviva is the cousin of funny lady and actress, Fran Drescher!

Carol Radziwill went from award-winning  journalism to best-selling author and last night she surprised the ladies with the great news, her book is being turned into a television series! Way to go Carole! She is very interesting, social  and funny, but manages to have a laid back personality. She strikes me as a modern day hippie with humor out of this world. I became very fond of Carole as soon as she was introduced on the show. The way in which she lightens up a room leaves me wanting more and more of her every week. She is one of the best additions to all the Real Housewives cast members. She has a charm and quality that I have not seen in any of the ladies since Bethenny Frankel has moved on. Another surprise on last nights episode was her admittance of being a Princess. Yes, what all little girls dream of! Carol shys away from the attention Ramona gives her title, still I must say I am with Ramona on this one. We finally have someone with better class than LuAnn. And that is not just speaking of her title!

Heather Thomson…oh Heather, where should I began? First off, let me introduce her….she is a very successful business woman with a background in the fashion industry. She has worked on the lines of Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce and Tina Knowles and Sean “PDiddy” Combs to name a few. Her greatest success is her own line of women’s shapewear, “Yummie Tummie”. I think Heather is a great addition when you are seeking drama. She pretends to be “drama-free”, but she would be the first in line for it, if it was not for LuAnn De Leseps still in attendance. Heather acts as if Ramona should know how she feels and she claims to be authentic, yet she will not be truthful with Ramona and outright tell her she is not fond of the other “fiery” characteristics. That is not even my biggest problem with Heather. Even if she “does not want to be mean” she keeps the truth from Ramona. Heather should not pretend to be friends by continuously inviting Ramona to other events and smiling all in her face. Just ignore her and stop with the fake friendship already! I agree that you do not have to invite any person to your trip that you do not wish, but the blatant attempt to leave Ramona out is a bigger dramatic play on “mean girls” than inviting all the ladies. Clearly, you want her to feel some type of way. I am not a fan of such passive aggressive behavior! I mean, you all are cast on the same show. It is not like Aviva is trying to get you to invite some creepy lady from around the corner.

Anyway, there are qualities that I like about Heather, but she needs to stop pointing the finger at Ramona. They are one and the same! Very much alike! Heather also goes out of her way to make digs at Ramona. At least I can say that Ramona is completely honest about her likes and dislikes. The funniest thing was Heather attempting to dress the ladies on last nights episode. She kept up the digs at Ramona, who already dresses as the business professional that she is. Ramona did successfully one up her by commenting on those hideous point-toe boots. I rewinded the DVR about ten times because my friend and I could not stop laughing. Ramona called Heather’s style “weak” for a fashion designer. She also added the comment about the boots… “what is up with those pointy-toe boots…they look like shit kickers…makes me want to kick the shit out of her!” Oh My Gosh, Ramona! That was the funniest thing I had ever heard.

It looks like Ramona does get left behind on next weeks episode. I cannot wait to see how this mess turns out! *Photos provided by Bravo TV Promo photos

Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa VS. Jacqueline

Real Housewives of New Jersey: Theresa VS. Jacqueline

Last nights episode of RHONJ began with Lauren Manzo agonizing over her recurring weight issues. I do not know about you, but I am suffering through the moments of her insecure extremes that are being pushed on by her mother. Caroline has been very unempathetic to her daughters cries by calling her “fat” on the show. They could be a little more supportive in her efforts. I am sick of watching it over and over like a hampster wheel. They have the means to take care of her weight issues and try one thing after another. I do not claim to know the heartache of battling weight problems; however, any issue that constantly recurs on television without an outcome becomes rather tiring.

Rosie is always nice to see as a happy medium on the show. She had a converstion with Teresa where she not only disclosed how Teresa has been “acting” toward the family, she also listened to how Teresa has been feeling. This is something that has been lacking on the fouth season. Everyone has an opinion about Teresa, still they invite her into thier homes, without forgiveness, act as everything is cool with her, then bash her when she exits the room. I do not respect such two-faced behavior. Finally, on last nights episode Jacqueline decided to open up.

I am happy that Jacqueline grew a pair and decided to tell Teresa how she was feeling; however, she did not address her as a friend would. For one, it really is none of Jacqueline’s business what Teresa does with her home and her money. That is between Teresa and her husband how they should handle their financial problems. The crying and prying about Teresa was unnecessary and dramatic coming from Jacqueline. People do not have to disclose their entire life if they choose not to. What also strikes me as odd is how Jacqueline claims to be such a good friend, but anytime she hears a story about Teresa in two cent magazines, she takes the side of the magazine before she even addresses Teresa.

The text message nonsense for instance. Teresa said she did not get a text, but Joe Gorga said he sent one. Whether the text was sent or not, Jacqeuline heard Joe sent it and she immediatley took that for the truth before her “best friends” account of the story. That shows that she really does not care for Teresa and every chance she gets on camera alone she is dogging her to no end, but she continues to sit up and smile in her face. I mean really? Can you tell how annoyed I am with the situation?

Let us get back to the “throw down”. Jacqueline badgered Teresa from sun up to sun down about the blogs and how Teresa never discloses information with Jacqueline. So what! I am not claiming to know that Teresa is right, but I do feel she has the right to have her own business with her husband. Whether or not she sells stories to the press is irrelevant. It is her life and she can do what she chooses with it. There are a lot who feel as if Teresa is the liar, still I must admit to be a fan. She goes through trials and tribulations and instead of complaining about what has happened over her life, she decides to put on a good face and live her life. She does not have to sulk because the world thinks that she should.

What about that gang up by Jacqueline and Carolyn? Carolyn is just old and bitter and pretends to take the high road but is constantly in everyone else’s business but her own. The adult children she has are out of the house so she has absolutley nothing to do with her time other than blame Teresa for why her sister Dina does not want a relationship with her. The Manzos have been on episode after episode commenting on how stupid Teresa is for not having a better relationship with her brother. What does that make you Carolyn? Life happens, still do not pretend to be holier than thou like your “shit don’t stink”, so to speak! If Carolyn was as classy as she claims to be she would have addressed Teresa on her own and told her how she felt, rather than wait until Jacqueline de-friends her to do so. I am over that Manzo drama!

Finally, Joe Gorga and Teresa had a chance to visit a mediator. A bit confused by how good the visit was, but I am happy that they took the first step. After their session, they both decided not to take the therapist, Michael’s advice. He told them not to mention the past and as soon as they walked in the hallway, that was the first thing they discussed. They are funny! I like the way they keep saying “do therapy” as if it is an action. Good times and bad, you have to love that family!
