Love & Hip Hop Atlanta: Season 2

LHipHop

Okay, Okay, I know I have been out of commission for quite some time now, but I am right on time for the most talked about, most viewed Atlanta train wreck; Love and Hip Hop! I say that with LOVE! 😉 As you all know I am a reality show junkie and although I have been away from my blog and getting my  “reality” together, I have been keeping up with all the seasons of your favorite VH1, Bravo, MTV, Oxygen, Style Network, etc… shows and will be updating you on my personal opinions of the most tragic and ratchett events to hit television. Anyway, enough about me, now back to our scheduled program!

Last night’s episode of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta was not completely shocking as we all know pretty much, what to expect since the first season. I will say that Mimi is off of her rocker these days. While last season we all felt sorry for her that she was played by her “baby daddy”, not only in life, but for millions of viewers to see; I am disappointed that she cannot see how beautiful and intelligent she is. She does not know her self worth. And once you give in to a guy for so long, he knows he can continue to do whatever he wants and you will still be in his corner for the most part. Stevie J is actually laughing at you and you are consistently crying over something he is clearly NOT going to change. Okay, I refuse to preach too much! I get it for the devils advocate who are out there and believe me I been there and done that so I GET IT… Still, it is becoming a little boring.

Now, Joseline is Joseline! She is the same and you can only respect a person who is exactly what they claim to be. She is definitely a train wreck, but she keeps it all the way REAL! She is all about her money by any means necessary! She is aware of her attributes and uses them to her advantage so she can get whatever she wants at any given time. Stevie J is exactly what and who he portrays. Joseline and Mimi have called him a pu$$y on the show and he laughs it off, but they all know where they stand with each other and they all know their own boundaries with each other. That is why Joseline is so bold to walk up in the house and piss off Mimi. Because Stevie will not say shit and Mimi will not do shit! That is the crazy threesome they have going on. And let us all face it… Mona Scott Young’s LHH series are a tad bit fabricated. While some beefs are real, they set-up a lot of the events to occur.

Now WTF is up with Momma Dee? Scrappy’s momma needs to have several seats! She is always in the mix giving her son the worst advice EVER! Thank GOD he is smart enough to ignore most of the ignorance that comes out of her mouth. Shay has found her way from the gutters of Milwaukee to make it onto another reality show and a second season, might I add! And I am from MKE so keep the comments about the city or your homie Shay to a minimum, please and thanks! Yes, I respect you trying to get your money up and stay relevant for as long as you possibly can; however, why do you want to chase a nigga who CLEARLY said in front of the ENTIRE world that he does not want you and proposed to the next lady? I mean seriously? You choose to make another fool out of yourself because his mama likes you? And Momma Dee to be exact? That is complete foolishness!

K Michelle did not have a big part of the show. I do feel her on Arianne though. I mean Arianne, if a nigga [male] is so insignificant that you can mention him on a radio show to all the listeners, then you should have been real enough to mention it to your so-called friend who you know was with him. You kept that a secret on purpose! Stop playing chile! I am excited to see what this season will bring. I will keep you posted on my thoughts and opinions so let me know what you think! Did you enjoy last night’s episode? Post a comment and follow my blog. I promise to keep you entertained!

XOXO!

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta: Sh!t Done Hit the Fan…Again!

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta: Sh!t Done Hit the Fan...Again!

This weeks episode began where it left off. A punch to Stevie’s face. Joseline was heated when she found out that Stevie J and Mimi live together. Stevie J is whack anyway. Why does he keep playing the role like he does not mess with Joseline, but everytime he hears her name, he has this goofy ass smile on his face? Joseline comes clean and admits that her mother was never there for either. She left home at a young age, 13. Sounds fimiliar within this entire disfunctional relationship. All three of them had a mother who neglected them. They need to learn from this. Not continue to live, seeking love from the wrong people.

Erica and Scrappy meet up to discuss the “Shay” situation. He keeps playing the role that Shay is his best friend when really he has been bending this hoe over all through Atlanta. I am glad that K Michele kept it real with Erica. She needs to know that Scrappy is trying to play her on television. Scrappy needs to cut off the lies and stop the non-sense. He continues to pretend that he is not sleeping with Shay. BS!

Later, Scrappy meets up to see his mother, Momma Dee, to get more BAD ADVICE! She has the worst advice ever. I did appreciate Scrappy for telling her not to call his baby mama, Erica, a bitch! Then Momma Dee comes to her confessional and re-calls Erica a “B-I-C-T-H…and in that order!” Ummmm…sorry Scrappy mama, not in that order. Bitch is spelled B-I-T-C-H! Yikes!

After Joseline’s visit, Benzino takes his boo, Karlie on a date. She starts to go in about her career again. Benzino admits that he is sick of hearing about her career. Ummm, sorry Benzino, the reason she keeps talking about her career is because that is what she dates you for. So that you can further her career, the one she has not been able to further the first 40 years of her life. And Karlie Redd, what is up with that fake ass relationship with Joseline? Hoes always connect at a man house when they are getting fucked over together. Then they have someone to compare notes with.

Rasheeda won me back over for a second by passing up on the “Deb situation” with Mizay Entertainment. She was wrong as hell for going behind her man/manager back to let a snake like Mizay tell her man Kirk off. Although, I am happy she wants to renew her vowels with her husband. He is the best hubby of 2012 reality shows! 🙂 After Rasheeda won me back over (who can hate on such a pretty face and “sweet” personality), she goes and disrespects my homie, K Michele.

Benzino goes and calls Mimi, Joseline! WTF! Mimi was annoyed, but she expects that because deep down she really knows that Joseline plays such a big role in Stevie J’s life. Well, one thing everyone agrees on is that they all three need to have a sit down again to discuss, as adults, what role each of them play in eachother’s lives. Although, we all know, they need to come to terms with the man they are each dealing with and decide if they will agree to go along with what he dishes or stand up and be accountable for what they let Stevie J do to them.

K Michele speaks out at during an organization about Domestic Violence. Rasheeda should mind her business and never doubt a “friend” who says that she is being abused. Domestic Violence is a very serious crime. People do not throw that around lightly, in fact most women who are victims of domestic violence hide the fact that they are actually victims. Women like to be viewed as strong. Especially a woman like K Michele. She now proves how strong she is by cursing out everyone in sight. I love her and I am happy she came out to tell her story. Sorry Rasheeda that you are friends with Toya “Carter” Wright and Memphitz. By the way, K Michele has never officially said her abusers name. We all just know who she is speaking of. And what is he suppose to say, that he did beat her and he is an asshole? Violent offenders do not really go around saying that is who they are.

I cannot wait to see where this show is going and when it will end.

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta: Cry Baby Cry Baby…

This episode begins with tears and ends the very same. It is almost as if the producers said they were preparing to take the show to broadway so they had prove who could drop the most tears. I hate to say that, as I believe some tears throughout the show more than others. Still, the producers could have made the show more authentic by dropping the tears throughout the episodes and not bundle them all into one.

Karlie Redd does not cry about the advice she gets from her manager. Apparently, she needs to drop Benzino because he is no longer relevant in the music industry. By that I mean, he does not have the “credibility” (arguable), that he had in the past with his rap career (bombed) and The Source Magazine. Most people do not like him because he is pretty wack. Not to mention, his head/body ratio is a little off. Benzino cries to Karlie Redd (literally – and I do mean tears) to keep their relationship going. He does point out that her career is just as irrelevant as his. That was funny! The boy does give good advice. Benzino pulls her back in by setting up a meeting with Vincent Herbert (husband/manager of Tamar Braxton). I would love to see what Vince heard from Karlie as he praised her music. Wait until Tamar gets a listen to this potential “client”. Once they hear what I did last week, he may change his mind very soon.

K Michelle has Mimi listen to a well written song about Mimi’s life with Stevie J. I loved the song and its harmonies. Mimi goes out to hear K. Michelle perform her new song. To her surprise, Stevie J is on stage performing a song for her as well. “I’m sick of all the fussing, fighting..”, sings Stevie. Um, if that was the case, would you not give up all the extra BS that you carry on? Mimi gets real and lets her emotions go. It seems she was tired and hurt from all of his antics and she finally released the pain through tears on the show.

More crying…Scrappy has a game of pool with his new “Boo”, Buckey. He goes on and on crying about this child support. He is such a freaking liar! He wants Buckey to believe that Erica is actually getting paid the child support. His broke ass was just telling his “BM”, Erica that he would pay her when he gets around to it. He did not even know that his daughter had her own bank accounts, yet he tells Buckey that he is the one who set the accounts up and that Erica just wants the money for herself. I think we can all agree by how he swooped his couch up out of the house where his child sleeps, he does not really put his child before himself. I mean, really? Take the sofa that your baby sits on?

K Michelle, I do love, but she is so wrong for complaining to her ex-boyfriend that she does not know why her relationships do not last. Could it be because you lead with your p#ssy-cat and not your personality? K Michelle goes on a date and throws that thing so far in his face, I am surprised he did not just start picking hair out of his teeth, right at the table. It is very obvious she has been emotionally scarred. She needs to learn how to love herself again, so that men can learn to love her as well. Love everything about her besides her “goods”. The ex gives her good advice, but she is clearly in denial.

Finally, Mimi gets her day in therapy. Stevie J accepts that he is a liar. I am relieved that he lets it out, but it must hurt to hear that he is no longer in love with Mimi. Although he is working on it, sometimes it is difficult to fall back in love with someone you once loved. He could not even definitively state that he was not in love with Joseline. That is a bit scary. Mimi should have her antennas completely in the air and stay aware of what happens around her, in regards to Stevie J.

The therapist quickly gets to the surface of the problems they are having. Especially, the enabling Mimi has been demonstrating over the years. He again delves deep into the root of the problems. Mimi had a non-existent mother who left her family for Scientology (the religion held by most Hollywood stars including Tom Cruise). Mimi lost that love in her life so she in turn tries to gain that love from others. Stevie on the other hand, never had a mother. She abandoned her family when Stevie was a baby. That goes to show why he can not respect women in the manner he should. This therapy session was indeed a good one. Their emotions were honest and it made me feel a little bad for Stevie J. Yes, he is a grown man who makes his own decisions, but he did not learn as a child where to channel his anger.

It seems next week we will be back to the fussing and fighting. Joseline will join the therapy session and she is a bit pissed when she learns that Mimi and Stevie J are working on the relationship they once had. While Joseline complained she wanted out of that contract giving Stevie 30% of her income. She claimed he did not own her and he was not leaving her “sex” alone. I guess she was wrong about both. For one, managers do not make 30%. That is very unusual. So I guess he does own her and by next week, we shall see him pass up that body too. *Most photos provided by VH1.com

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta: Scrap the Scrapper!

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta: Scrap the Scrapper!

First off, I feel like I failed to mention this in my last LHHATL post. What is with those four braids that Joseline keeps rockin’? They are so thick at the top and so bald on the ends…I mean, really? They’re reminiscent of the “90’s R. Kelly. Now back to the scheduled program…

Mimi claims she is over Stevie J. She decides to pack up his belongings from “the house” which turns out to be four half empty boxes. A friend brought to my attention last week, Stevie J and Mimi must not really be a real”item”. What man would let his women be disrespected by a hoe? On top of that, disrespect her on national television by choosing the hoe over his baby mama? Also, have you all noticed how they always talk about going to eachothers house or calling in the morning. Clearly, they do not wake up together and they are not as “together” as they are portraying on the show. Stevie mentioned last week he has five baby mamas so apparently, he feels Mimi is only another baby mama and not his “woman”? Just an observation…and pure speculation! Either way, I hope she works that out…

Okay, now what is up with Buckey and Lil Scrappy. He is such a f#cking liar! And pissing me off as the shows go by. I feel bad for Erica, the way he is playing her on the show. And how did we go from best friends to boyfriend/girlfriend in one episode? That Buckey is “wizack” for trying to play girlfriend and talking shit about Erica when she has no clue what the relationship is between Erica and Scrappy. Do not try to down her and speak on her relationship when you do not know the half! Scrappy does not deserve Erica! And she should not help him put the pieces back together when he loses his fame again in two years!

On top of Scrappy and his non-sense…Momma Dee needs to mind her business and stop babying her grown ass son. You two will never be an item so get off of Scrappy so hard and cut the damn cord, so to speak. Erica is clearly irritated by Momma Dee. She is in love with her son and it is weird! And what did that threat mean at the end of their visit? “Don’t trust me” is what Momma Dee told Erica. What does that really mean?

Erica was 100% correct. Now we see how Scrappy really is. He needs an excuse to break up with her so he uses an asthma attack as the way out? Then he complains about her going to work when she is the one paying the bills that still need to be paid while he is out partying….really Scrappy? Grow the hell up!

Now…Karlie Redd, Karlie Redd, Karlie Redd! What the f#ck was that? Did that really happen? That stage performance was HORRIBLE to say the least. No wonder why she never made it in the business. And all the ladies keep clowning on her being a senior citizen. So funny! Joseline was so pissed about working with Karlie Redd. Stevie J put his pimping down and they “decided” Karlie Redd and Joseline would indeed have a single together.

Stevie J and Mimi had an entertaining disagreement. I am glad and surprised that Mimi brought up how Joseline and Mimi interract. Joseline feels way to comfy with Stevie. How does the side chick feel like she can check his woman? And have the nerve to say she cannot “trust Stevie”…last time I checked, a hoe is not suppose to trust a man that does not belong to her. SMH! I cannot wait to see how this therapy session will turn out since Stevie seems to think it will work.

Finally, Karlie Redd and K Michelle have it out…well slightly. K Michelle is hilarious to me. As soon as Karlie gets to the table, K Michelle clowns Karlie’s clothes. Karlie came back with a comment or two. And Karlie said she has a video tape of K Michelle. I wonder what is on that alleged tape. Oh wait, before I end this I have to mention Karlie Redd and Benzino? Wasn’t she dating LA Reid’s son when the show began? What the f#ck? Anyway, Karlie does need to know she is a messy b!tc#. I cannot wait to see where her mouth gets her…to the top I suppose 😉

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta: “Scrap” it Out

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta began with a visit from Stevie J to Joseline’s apartment. They confessed of the abortion that had taken place and Stevie was back pimp talking his way into Joseline’s heart. I thought she was a “G” and was going to stand her ground when she asked if he had ever loved her, he never said yes, but he reluctantly gave her a kiss that basically soothed her bruised heart.

Speaking of bruised hearts, which should really be a bruised ego by now, Mimi spoke to her BFF and K Michelle to update them on the latest drama. She explained her embarrassment as Stevie J pulled out Joseline’s pregnancy from his pocket. The ladies were in shock, but not really as Stevie is a proven repeat offender. Mimi claimed to be done with the entire Stevie J situation, outside of their child.

Joseline later headed to the dance studio to get her body “back in shape”, not that 1 month of pregnancy pounds on much weight. Stevie stopped by to see her dance moves after he talked her into keeping her head on track. Then, he creepishly watched her roll and twist her hips to her new latin track.

Once Joseline was smoothed over, Stevie J went to work his “magic” on his girlfriend, Mimi. I cannot say the magic worked as Mimi seemed to be as pissed as we have ever seen her, but really, can you blame her? Stevie never opened up his mouth to take responsibility for what he often dishes out. She continued to let him have it as he tried to play nonchalant as if nothing ever occurred. Sorry Stevie, that weird crooked-eyed look you give is not going to work this time! Stevie stuck his tail between his legs and “pimp walked” off the set, so to speak. This is the best real/acting drama I have ever seen, but ggod for Mimi who has finally seemed to stand her ground.

Scrappy moved out of Erica’s home and spinned completely out of control. While Erica was confirming to her mother the great relationship she has with Scrappy and she will say yes when he proposes (for the second time), Scrappy was at his new place rubbing [sun-screen] up and down the backside of “Buckey” or Shay [from Flavor of Love].

Those two claim to be friends, but did you peep when he was telling the story about Erica and Stevie J to Buckey…she was trying to confirm that he was only taking Erica’s side because that is his baby mama, and not because the two are an item. He agreed…lies! I do not understand why Scrappy is going to play the sh*t out of his baby mama on national television once again. Men have no respect these days! If you do not want to be with her, Scrappy, you should have told her when you were movin out and not once you confirm a place to live again. Scrappy is using her for the love she has for him. He will dump her anytime he gets a check like he has done in the past. What a shame. And to keep complementing on “Buckey’s” body…really? Erica Dixon has a nice body and it is better kept than Buckey’s. She is one cheeseburger away from being obese. I am not one to hate, but if you want to use the excuse that you like this girl body, your baby mama wins that hands down! Just keep it real and say you a hoe…that likes hoes…

Finally, the grand finale of all show endings. I really thought this would be some fake fight between the two men, but it turned out to be worth watching. Erica takes Scrappy to the studio Stevie J is recording at. When Stevie walks out, he is accompanied by his side kick/chick, Joseline. He came out correct and apologized for what he said about Erica. Scrappy wanted it to be clear why he was upset and they began to talk it out man to man. It was going well when Scrappy wanted to give Stevie a taste of his anger. Scrappy referred to calling Joseline a b!tc#. Then Joseline jumped in and began to argue. Joseline, not even aware of the situation, says that Stevie J and Erica were fucking (out of left field)…everyone was confused and all hell broke loose.

The cameras did not show the viewers who threw the first punch but it was a clear shot of Scrappy pounding the back of Stevie’s head as they fell into the bushes. While they were laying on the ground, Stevie J proceeds to bite Scrappy continuously…not even coming up for air. By now, all the body guards are holding their arms, but the biting continues. A bite though, Stevie? Who does that! I mean, in the male species anyway…?

Once the two were separated, Scrappy cut loose again. He is a big man and quick on his feet, might I add. He gets a hold of Stevie behind
a car and we [the viewers] really could not tell what was happening (I assume Scrappy had Stevie in a head lock cutting off his air), all I know is Stevie got up stumbling and almost like he had been knocked out while the body guards carried him to his feet. A lot more shouting and carrying-on went on, until everyone went home and Scrappy promised to “see about” them again.

The night ended with Erica updating Mimi and the other ladies on the incident. They all agreed that problems tend to follow Ms. Joseline, and that is a problem they are willing to solve. My gosh! When is it going to end! 😉

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta: Baby Mama Drama!

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta is a HOT MESS, child! Just when I thought it could get no worse…ooops, they did it again! Where oh where should I start? Episode 3 begins right where it left off. Stevie J continues to insult his alledged “baby mama”, Joseline. He demeans her character again as if she is not the same slut puppy he has been screwing [having sexual intercourse with] for the last 4-6 months [at that time]. Joseline becomes annoyed by his antics and tells him that she will make up a contract for 50% of everything he has! Stevie J in turn asks her if she wants 50% of [grabs crotch] “deez nuts”, I guess? I assume she already had that since she is there with her positive pregnancy test in tow. The episode also ends on a “Stevie J” note, but I will get back to that.

K Michelle was trying to get her voice and music back out into the music industry world so she decided to throw a listening party for executives and fans to judge her on the music and not on the rumors of her being crazy. The evening was a success for K Michelle, but I cannot say the same about the rest of the cast. First, out of left field, Karlie Redd throws a jab, so to speak, at Mimi by pointing out another woman that Stevie J supposedly slept with. This in front of all the ladies. Come on Karlie! I liked you up until this point. The episode highlighted all of Karlie’s negatives. Once she embarrassed Mimi, she even went to K Michelle’s new producer [Brian Michael Cox] (at her event) and told him he was dealing with the wrong artist! Oh no she didn’t! I guess she is really trying to get to the top by any means necessary! K Michelle followed up that drama by stating that Karlie Redd should focus more on her “deflated” butt cheek and stop worrying about what K Michelle is doing. She also called Karlie a 50 year old artist who should consider retirement! Yikes! She is funny!

Back to the story at hand, Stevie J noticed the “stink eye” that he was getting from his baby mama, Mimi. He walked up to her and asked her for a kiss, in his “gangster voice”. Mimi blew him off and said she will call him later. He was annoyed and continued to harrass her for a kiss. When he finally walked away, Erica Dixon laughed and mocked him in his approach. All the ladies laughed and he apparently heard her speaking because he went back to confront her. Yes, confront a girl for laughing at him!  How old are we again? He called himself checking Erica by acting as if she was beneath him and he was “the man”! Mimi sat quietly, not even defending Erica. Later, Erica went to tell her baby daddy, Lil’ Scrappy about the incident. Their communication is so adorable for an Atlanta couple. They seemed very natural and on the same page which leads me to the question, why is Scrappy not keeping it real with Erica? He told his mother, “Momma Dee” that he wants attention from all girls, but he keeps telling Erica they are working on their relationship with no outsiders. That is the problem with men. They never know how to keep it real! Anyway, Scrappy ended the conversation by stating he wanted to put those “paws” on Stevie J. If you ask me, someone needs to!

Mimi confronted Stevie J about the girl he supposedly slept with from the party. His answer to the question was not that he could remember! Really!!!??? I bet that was all  Mimi wished she was dealing with. By the end of the episode, Mimi met up with Joseline at a restaurant. Joseline wanted to come clean about the pregnancy. The conversation began with Mimi doubting Joseline and pointing out that she was a stripper. Joseline proved her point by reminding Mimi of the 3 months Stevie J was not sleeping at home. Say what say huh? Mimi took a gulp and it looked as if the conversation was turning!  As they talked, Stevie J texted Joseline who in turn told him to meet up at the same restaurant they were at.

Stevie seemed surprised by their meeting and tried to play the “It wasn’t me” role as Mimi badgered him about it being true. Meanwhile, he pulls the pregnancy test out of his pocket! STOP THE PRESS! Yes, people, I can’t make this stuff up! Mimi seemed to have confirmed that question telling herself that “no man, in his right mind, would carry the pregnancy test of some womens” [ if he was not the father]. Stevie J questioned whether Joseline was even pregnant. Huh? Both women pointed out to him that he was holding the answer in his hand…they followed that with a lot of “stupid” comments! I mean this was the funniest episode ever! Mimi had enough and walked out and Joseline and Stevie had their usual beefs and disses going back and forth. All I know is the pimp word came out. He went to strike her but threw a drink instead. And ended the conversation telling her she is beautiful! Wow! This is the worst case of pimpin I have ever seen! Stevie has NO game, whatsoever! Though I specualted it before, I feel they confirmed it last night. Mimi does not want to get in the way of his “money” and Joseline should not tell the world she is pregnant by her “daddy”!  Come on son…it does not take a rocket scientist! I think Stevie J should be a little more selective about how he enters self proclaimed “hoes”. You see where it will get you!

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta: Joseline Brawls in Atlanta Club

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta: Joseline Brawls in Atlanta Club

Joseline Hernandez of VH1’s reality show, Love and Hip Hop Atlanta was in a club brawl last night. Apparently some unidentified woman asked Joseline if she aborted the baby of fellow cast member and manager, Stevie J. Aggitated by the question, Hernandez hit the woman and a fight broke out between the two leaving Hernandez badly injured with a bloody face.

Hernandez has been annoyed by the comments she gets daily from viewers of the show who see her as a “hoe” and have questioned her gender. Joseline has come out stating that she is a woman and even followed up the questioning with a nude photo to prove viewers wrong. “I was stressed out. I was wrong for doing that. I shouldn’t have never did that, that was my past but that was the first thing that i thought about. I just wanted people to leave me alone,” Hernandez said.

“They were just basically bullying me…people just really, they just don’t care… that’s how people end up killing themselves, because of people. I didn’t have to take it to that level,” she added. She also said that she is “confused” by such rumors and went on to say that, “I’m beautiful and a lot of women would pay thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars to look like me. You know, I work out a lot.. take care of my body and I love how I look and hey, whoever don’t like it, they can stop looking! But I know they not, cause they love it too.”

I cannot confirm Joseline Hernandez to be a man or a woman, but if I were in her shoes, I would ignore the comments. Who really goes that far to prove their gender? If someone was to call me a man I would laugh…I’m confused by her need to make people believe her. What do you think?

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta New Episode

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta New Episode

Did you tune in to VH1 last night for the new episode of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta? If you were not one of the 3 million viewers, let me update you on this weeks happenings.

We took a glimpse into the life of Rap Songstress Rasheeda and her husband/ “man”ager, Kirk. What a positive and beautiful relationship to have on this series considering the train wreck we could not take our eyes off last week. Kirk called himself a “sucka” for Rasheeda. I say he is an excellent figure to have as a black man on television. You are a REAL MAN Kirk and should continue to stay that way to show all the real “suckas” how it is done! Happy wife = happy life! And don’t you know it. Rasheeda was a little wrong though to show up late to her own video. I understand as a female, if you have to do your own styling and primping for your own video how annoyed you must have been; however, communication is key! You should have answered or text him that, so he was aware and could pass that information on. Anyway, I still love their relationship dynamic.

I am taking a real liking to Miss Karlie Redd, as she is one of the realist cast members on the show. With the exception of her “ass”et, she is about as real as real could get. And she does have a nice bod, so “big-up” to Karlie…stay in that gym girl, I am not mad at you!

Now, back to the PURE CRAZINESS of the show. Mimi should have held on to her pride just a little bit longer. She claims she does not know about what he [Stevie J] does because she only sees the sweet side of him..? I beg to differ! We all seen that corrupt nature in him and by the looks of her less than mild outrage, she has seen that side before too. 3 million of us to be exact. There is only so long a woman can sell herself short for a little bit of money. And if she wants to sell herself in that manner, she should not play the “I didn’t know” role. She has to lie in the bed in which she made without the viewers every night. To each its own. Just keep it real. Say, “I do not care what Stevie does as long as my bills are paid on time!” We could respect that. Still, she must have some feelings for this man since she has a child in common. Just know Mimi, if you continue down this path, you will be hurt 10 times over!

Still Stevie has shown a little more respect for his “baby mama” in comparison to last weeks episode. He finally figured out which girl was which! If only for the week, she was indeed smoothed over. Mimi, get that 20% contract signed first! I have a feeling he will try to cheat her a little more in the money department. He is clearly not your everyday, stand up, kind of man. We noticed that when Miss Joseline Hernandez brought her pregnancy to his attention.

Okay, so we thought it could get no worse than the season premiere. Damn, this is only the second episode! Joseline, girl, take a seat! She was all down Karlie’s throat because she could not check Stevie’s real woman, Mimi. What is up with telling us [the viewers] and everyone on the show that they [Stevie J and Joseline] are sleeping together, then that are not, then she is magically pregnant by him!? C’mon now! We all knew what was happening but why the lies by the two of them attempting to convince the “stupid viewers” that they have a professional relationship? Newsflash: We can all see what is and was happening between the two of you! Stop trying to be the “player” on one scene and “innocent” in the next! Foolery right before our very eyes! Now I wonder how Joseline feels about him basically telling her to have an abortion on national television, in so many words. As if that is birth control! And since when do you have unprotected sex with a stripper you picked up four months ago? Besides the seed growing in Joseline, what else have you picked up?

He was dead wrong for asking whose baby that was when he knows she is proud of their disrespectful relationship. Then acting as if she is tripping by not thinking of the photo-shoot they have scheduled….REALLY Stevie J? He is making it very difficult to respect or even like him as a person or producer. How can one take him seriously?

How I ask? Well, rumor has it, for years now, that Stevie J is gay. Well, let us say bi-sexual, to be political about it. Gossip has spread like wild fire through the internet about past relationship speculation with a well-known mogul. You do that math! And Atlanta is known for the “down-low brotha”. If you have not heard, a down-low man is one in which pretends not to be gay, either because he is still interested in women or he fears the wrath of his peers; therefore, he keeps his homosexual activities under wraps! A secret! On the “DOWN-LOW”! I cannot confirm or deny the allegations; however, all those gangsta/”sexy”/thug looks he gives to everyone around him, kind of make you wonder…? What is with that one eyebrow look anyway? Well, stayed tuned for next week’s drama. I will indeed!

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta…Sad I tell you!

As the teaser promised, Love and Hip Hop Atlanta kicked off their first season last night with a bang of embarrassment, to and for ATLANTA! It was crazy to say the least and completely different than the Love and Hip Hop version in NJ. The loving affection and sweet yet sarcastic comments dished back and forth by the originals, Jim Jones and Chrissy Lampkin are no more. Now there is just pure hate going on mixed with down right DISRESPECT. While I did enjoy some parts of the show my mouth was literally to the floor the entire hour of the VH1 drama and by the way, DRAMATIC is an understatement. My problem isn’t that some people actually live this way and have colorful members peppered throughout their families. The biggest issue for me is the glorification of such nonsense!

I would like to think of myself as the BIGGEST reality show fan ever! I respect the way everyone lives and makes their money and I do not judge, for we all have a past….but, REALLY??? Some things should not be televised. Now, where should I begin? Let’s start with the mildest members of the cast.

Karlie Redd is a model and and Hip Hop artist who gave us a taste of what she has to offer on last nights premiere. She only spit a sixteen which left me as well as many wanting to hear more of her Trinidadian flo. Rapper Rasheeda is also amongst the cast. She has been a house-hold name for some time now. There wasn’t much about her shared on the premiere outside of the beautiful face we all know and love. K. Michelle is a cast member who you may or may not know. She had a record deal with Jive a couple years ago and became known around urban communities with her single, “How Many Times”. Once she was at a height she was suddenly missing from the spotlight. No one thought much about it until she clarified on the show. She was dating a Jive Rep by the name of Mickey “Memphitz” Wright (yes, Lil’ Wayne’s baby mama’s [formerly Toya Carter] new husband). Apparently, Memphitz spent up her 2 million dollar check, beat her ass and sent her on her way! ~Why would Toya (Wright) want a man like that…anyway, that’s another story!~

Erica Dixon is the next cast member. While she is an ex-highschool classmate of mine (go-figure…ATL is small) she is also the “baby mama” of rapper Lil’ Scrappy, who casts on the show with his mother “Momma Dee” who adds a bit more juicy gossip than one can imagine. She’s an ex drug dealer and pimp who clearly loves her son…one of those mamas who refuses to let their son be a man. She would rather have him all to herself. Still, I respect her realness, which I know is real because I heard her on a radio show on V103 about a year back. As she did on the show last night, she was dissing Scrappy’s ex-Boo, rapper Diamond on the air! Calling her all out here name. The story goes, Scrappy cheated on Erica to date “a star”, Diamond (Of Crime Mobb). Diamond in turn cheated on Scrappy. She was seen all over Atlanta in photos kissing Soulja Boy. In retaliation, Momma Dee went on the air to talk about Diamond’s “hoe tendencies” and pull the press away from her son. Scrappy tucked his tail, ran back to Erica Dixon and here we have them today. Side Note: Diamond was originally scheduled to appear on the show, but when she learned of Scrappy and Momma Dee signing on, she broke her contract and split, leaving K. Michele to take her place. Now, have we all caught up? If you’re confused already, this one will be a doozy!

MiMi Faust is the “baby mama” of Grammy Award winning producer, Stevie J. So, he really wasn’t a household name, but Stevie J does get around! Mimi is very sweet and a savvy business women, but it seems her main focus has become keeping up with the cheater. Who knows what she sees in him…to each her own, but the way he embarrassed her last night should be a news flash and an eye opener not only to Mimi, but to women of this NATION! Geez! First off, Stevie takes her to a house he wants her to have conveniently as the show is beginning. I can’t tell if the house is to flex his muscles to show what he can afford or if he wants her out of the city so that he can bring bimbos home to his place in the city. My perspective, he should have saved the money! She has been with him this long, she excepts you for you! Another cast member is Stevie’s side chick, a spanish Hip Hop artist and former stripper by the name of Joseline Hernandez. I can’t even begin to speak on Joseline. Frankly, she’s every side piece wrapped up in one. Naive, immature, idiotic and dilussional, with a touch of self-esteem issues and possibly bi-polar. Still, she manages to think that all men want her and all women hate on her. Go figure! Now I don’t believe I have ever seen a show or movie in which the main chick is cast along with the side chick! Really??? Stevie J showed what an idiot he is. He seems to think that he looks like a player, meanwhile he has NO charisma or (dare I say) SWAG in any bone of his body! C’mon now. We all know a player, who we possibly dated in the past that you would drop everything at his call. Even if we weren’t that naive, we all know a man with that type of affect on women. Stevie J; however, is not one of those men. Did anyone else see him blurt out, “I love you!” to Mimi? It was so emotionless and almost like a script. WOW!

Mimi says that they have been together on and off for fifteen years. Let us take a look back into Stevie’s past…Stevie J was once engaged to marry rapper Eve, yes! I know! She wasn’t “on” yet. This was back in about 2000 when she was young and “dumb” she said and Stevie talked her into marriage one night. She almost rushed to an alter to make it happen, until she called her mother who talked her off of “the ledge”, so to speak. Later, in 2007 he was engaged to marry Whoopi Goldberg’s daughter, Alexandria Martin. At that time the couple was said to be on again and off again for 6 years. Back then he was quoted as saying, “I’m to the place right now in my life where I am fully happy with the man I have become. I know none of this would be possible without God first and a beautiful partner like Alex. I am looking forward to planning out a great life for us”. So what’s up with all the dates and confusion? If another engagement happened while Mimi and Stevie J were together, trust me he is never going to grow up. And let’s make my opinion VERY clear. My argument isn’t mostly that he is a cheater. Mimi knows what she has gotten herself into and chose to stay for one reason or another. I CANNOT respect the fact that he let Joseline, the side chick get so confused as to think she’s his main woman. How dare he allow her to throw a drink on him and disrespect Mimi on national TV and in front of him. If he was a real player, she would know her place. And he wouldn’t have left with a side dish that will come and go with any man who flashes her a hefty pocket.  What do you think?! Stay tuned!
